Team member that participates and mentors team members in the production and repair of metalworking dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools, applying knowledge of machining and tool & die construction.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5 or more years of previous Tool & Die plastic injection mold building and troubleshooting experience.
EDUCATION: Tool and Die plastic injection mold building experience. High School/G.E.D or Machinist/Tool Maker equivalent experience.
BASIC SKILLS: Reading and comprehension, math skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, MRP systems and computer skills.
EQUIPMENT: Qualified candidate must provide their own personal equipment and tools used in tool and die construction.
TECHNICAL SKILLS: High level of mechanical assembly, reading technical prints, 3D software and CAD/CAM experience. Must be proficient with the maintenance and use of all equipment in the Shop, this includes but not limited to CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, band saw, drill press, EDM sinker, pin grinder, and CNC magnetic table grinder.
