JOB SUMMARY:

Under minimal supervision, completes various material handling tasks to ensure all downstream operations have their kits and parts when needed and ensure accurate inventory. Material handlers are required to multitask and must work in a team environment, transact, and communicate efficiently. Observes all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment, applicable to the use of heavy equipment and machinery, and applicable to the use of chemicals including isopropyl alcohol flux, solder glues, epoxies, urethane foam, and aqueous cleaning solutions.


DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • All duties of Material Handler 1
  • Assist with Vendor manage inventory.
  • Kanban set-up and timely replenishment of inventory signals
  • Understand and work on Just in Time inventory replenishment systems.
  • Barrel material handling and ensure safety according to the SDS sheets.
  • Trained on fork truck if it is required in the area where you are working.
  • Understand deviations and able to transact inventory to ensure accurate inventory.
  • Able to reconcile most inventory, find root cause, and put corrective actions in place.
  • Adjust Shop Order
  • Improve material flow.
  • Transact into MRB and follow red-tag process.
  • Utilize inventory reports to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Space management
  • Monitor inventory levels.
  • Able to read and transact inventory to Hy-junka board demand.
  • All other duties assigned by your manager.
